Overview

Job title: Project Procurement Administrator

Job Type: Permament

Start date: ASAP - depending on security clearance

Pay rate/ Benefits: £27,000

Location: Chorley

Hours of work: 40 hours per week, Monday - Thursday

Role information

Provision of administrative support to the project Procurement team; and support the wider project team.

Responsibilities
  • Support Procurement team in drafting and sending tender enquiries to suppliers for goods and services
  • Facilitate meetings, take minutes and assign and monitor actions as requested
  • Help to problem solve queries and issues with orders or invoices in an efficient and timely manner
  • Assist with management and maintenance of Procurement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Chase up purchase orders as required or requested
  • Review order acknowledgements for accuracy, raise anomalies with relevant stakeholder
  • Maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and supply chain
  • Assist with raising purchase orders for lower value requirements
  • Support the purchasing team with project specific administration and data collection
  • Compile and circulate documents and information as required
  • Prepare and manage project action trackers as directed
  • Update and maintain project folders in accordance with Supply Chain Process
  • Maintain Approved Supplier List and associated tasks
  • Data entry
Qualifications / Experience
  • Applicants must have experience of the following:
  • Support Procurement team in drafting and sending tender enquiries to suppliers for goods and services
  • Facilitate meetings, take minutes and assign and monitor actions as requested
  • Helping to problem solve queries and issues with orders or invoices in an efficient and timely manner
  • Assist with management and maintenance Procurement Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's)

  • Maintaining relationships with internal stakeholders and supply chain
