P6 Project Planner – Systems Integration & Rollouts (Contract – Inside IR35)

Location: Hybrid 2 days in London Office.

Rate: £475- £525 per day.

Duration: 6-month initial term

Sector:Infrastructure / IT Projects.

Infraspec is supporting a major infrastructure client undergoing a large-scale transformation involving IT systems integration and enterprise-wide rollouts. As part of this programme, we are seeking an experienced P6 Project Planner to support planning and delivery across multiple workstreams within an infrastructure client organisation PMO.

Overview

You’ll be responsible for developing and managing detailed Primavera P6 schedules for IT-related activities, including:

  • Planning and tracking system integrations, application deployments, and infrastructure upgrades.
  • Creating and maintaining P6 programmes that reflect key milestones, dependencies, and risk events across IT workstreams.
  • Building fragnets to model actual vs. planned progress, particularly around phased rollouts and change windows.
  • Reviewing supplier and internal team schedules to ensure alignment with programme objectives and delivery timelines.
  • Collaborating with IT, PMO, and business stakeholders to ensure realistic and achievable plans.
Key Requirements
  • Proven experience creating and managing schedules in Primavera P6, ideally within IT transformation or systems integration programmes.
  • Strong understanding of IT delivery lifecycles, including testing, deployment, and change management.
  • Background in one or more of the following sectors: infrastructure, utilities, transport, or enterprise IT.
  • Excellent analytical and reporting skills to identify programme risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Confident communicator with the ability to engage stakeholders across technical and non-technical teams.

This is a contract role inside IR35, offering flexibility to work from home 2 days a week in the London office.
