Programme Manager

An opportunity for a seasoned Programme Manager to lead the delivery of large-scale, complex implementation programmes within the financial services sector. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong delivery track record, capable of managing multiple project workstreams, aligning cross-functional teams, and maintaining strong governance and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
• Own the end-to-end programme lifecycle, ensuring successful delivery across technical, operational, and client-facing streams

• Define and maintain robust programme structures, governance frameworks, and reporting mechanisms

• Lead coordination of internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment on objectives, timelines, and interdependencies

• Manage programme-level risks, issues, resource planning, and budget oversight

• Support business development activities, including implementation planning during pre-sales phases

• Act as a senior point of contact for clients, providing leadership and direction throughout the programme lifecycle

• Ensure seamless handover to operational teams post-implementation, maintaining continuity of service

Ideal Candidate Profile:
• Extensive experience delivering complex programmes within financial services, ideally wealth management or private banking

• Strong leadership skills and the ability to influence at all levels, both internally and externally

• Deep understanding of project delivery methodologies (Agile, Prince2, or similar)

• Commercially aware, with experience managing budgets and realising programme benefits

• Confident communicator, skilled in managing senior stakeholders and facilitating executive-level discussions
