Job description

Our client is going through a sustained period of growth, driven by several recent, significant business wins. To support this expansion, they are looking to appoint a Production Team Leader to run daily operations, lead a small, skilled team, and drive continuous improvement within a busy manufacturing environment.

This is very much a hands‑on leadership role, where you'll play an active part in production while guiding and developing your team to deliver high‑quality products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan workloads and co‑ordinate closely with engineering and supply chain teams.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a small team to ensure products are manufactured to the highest standard.
  • Be actively involved in production, providing hands‑on support where needed.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and product development.
  • Maintain KPIs and take responsibility for the upkeep and efficiency of facilities.
About You
  • Time‑served Mechanical Engineer (or equivalent qualification).
  • Proven supervisory or team leadership experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
  • Strong communicator with excellent leadership and coaching skills.
  • Passionate about quality, continuous improvement, and team development.
