Job description

We are a structural adhesive manufacturer based in Hebburn, and due to the sustained growth need additional support with the cleaning and preparation of vessels and production equipment. The role would be be varied depending on the needs of the productions schedule, but typically would include tasks as listed below.

Responsibilities

• clean, stock and supply designated facility areas.
• emptying waste bins.
• perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities.
• carry out heavy cleansing tasks and special projects.
• cleaning and maintaining work areas and machinery.
• using materials handling equipment to move goods.
• locating and transporting materials from warehouse to point of use.
• decanting bulk materials from production vessels into alternate containers.
• finishing products, for example, tightening caps, applying labels, sealing boxes.
• completing necessary paperwork.
• reporting any problems during the shift to line manager.
• follow all health and safety regulations.
• working to create a supportive an inclusive working environment.
