Job summary

Adecco Pontoon is hiring an experienced Application Support Analyst to join a growing Application Management team in a banking environment in London. The role offers hybrid work with 2 days onsite per week and a 9-month contract with potential extension.

The successful candidate will provide production support for front-to-back office trading applications, leveraging strong SQL skills and stakeholder management to ensure stability, performance, and availability of critical systems.

Qualifications

• Strong SQL skills including complex data investigation and troubleshooting.
• Experience supporting business users and managing stakeholder relationships.
• Experience in Capital Markets, Equities, or Investment Banking environments.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Windows-based production environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day production support for trading and operational applications.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve application and data issues.
• Perform detailed SQL analysis to identify root causes of incidents.
• Coordinate with Front Office, Middle Office, Operations and Technology teams.
• Monitor application health and proactively identify service issues.
• Support system releases, deployments, and change management activities.
• Coordinate with development teams for smooth production transitions.
• Contribute to incident, problem, and root cause analysis processes.
• Maintain support documentation and procedures.
• Participate in on-call support when required.
