You will provide hands-on production support for Fixed Income and Derivatives trading platforms used by Sales and Trading across EMEA, coordinating with traders, developers and infrastructure.

A leading global financial institution is looking for an experienced Application Support Analyst to join its Front Office Trading Technology team in London. This is a highly visible, business-facing support role focused on supporting Fixed Income and Derivatives trading platforms used by Sales and Trading teams across EMEA.

The position sits at the heart of the trading environment, providing hands-on production support for business-critical applications, electronic trading platforms and front-to-back trading workflows. You'll work closely with traders, sales teams, developers and infrastructure teams, taking ownership of support issues, driving incident resolution and ensuring a high level of service across the trading estate.

Key Responsibilities

• Providing day-to-day production support for Front Office Fixed Income and Derivatives trading applications.
• Monitoring trading platforms and resolving production issues to ensure minimal disruption to the business.
• Taking ownership of high-priority incidents and coordinating with development, infrastructure, business users and external vendors through to resolution.
• Supporting electronic trading workflows including pricing, RFQ, order management, execution, trade capture and STP processes.
• Troubleshooting market connectivity and FIX-related issues across multiple trading platforms.
• Performing root cause analysis and working closely with engineering teams to implement long-term solutions.
• Supporting production releases, upgrades and the onboarding of new functionality into the production environment.
• Creating and maintaining support documentation, operational procedures and runbooks.

Requirement

• 5+ years of experience in Application Support, Trading Support, Production Support or a similar Front Office support function within investment banking or capital markets.
• Strong understanding of Fixed Income products, including Rates, Credit, Repo and/or Interest Rate Derivatives.
• Knowledge of front-to-back trade lifecycles and electronic trading workflows.
• Experience supporting electronic trading platforms in a live Front Office environment.
• Strong troubleshooting, incident management and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage stakeholders across both business and technology teams.
• Strong Linux/Unix and SQL skills with the ability to investigate and resolve production issues.
• A proactive approach to support, service improvement and platform stability.
