Production Supervisor - Food Manufacturing

Location: Ashford

Hours: 6:00am - 4:00pm, Monday to Thursday (Friday overtime 1.25x)

Salary: £33,000 per year (DOE)

Our client, a fast‑paced food manufacturing business, is looking for a Production Supervisor to oversee daily operations, lead production teams, and ensure high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and support production teams to achieve daily targets
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety, food safety, and GMP standards
  • Manage production KPIs, staffing, and documentation
  • Liaise with Engineering, Warehouse, and Supply Chain to maintain smooth operations
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and NPD trials
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a Team Leader or Supervisor in food manufacturing or FMCG
  • Food Safety Level 2
  • Strong knowledge of food production practices and quality standards
  • Excellent organisational, leadership, and communication skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment
