Job Title: Production Operator

Role Overview

As a Production Operator, you will support the Line Leader in ensuring the efficient running of production lines, achieving targets, and monitoring line machinery.

Working Hours

• Monday – Friday, 45 hours, 05:00 - 14:00
• or
• Monday – Friday, 45 hours, 14:00 – 23:00

Key Responsibilities

1. Follow Standard Operating Procedures to complete tasks within the production environment.
2. Maximise line output by maintaining correct line speeds.
3. Report non-conformances to the Line Leader immediately.
4. Monitor and compare expected versus actual hourly line output rates and identify reasons for shortfalls.
5. Participate in Continuous Improvement activities and suggest improvements for line performance.
6. Assist during line changes and learn new skills as required.
7. Complete manual work as needed.
8. Work on different lines and areas as required.
9. Comply with all company procedures and codes of practice to ensure a safe and hygienic workplace.
10. Adhere to Health and Safety procedures; report issues or near misses.
11. Maintain a clean workspace and demonstrate good manufacturing practices.
12. Take accountability for maintaining line standards.
13. Ensure products meet specifications to exceed customer expectations.
14. Complete routine tasks proactively and perform other duties related to this role and the production environment.
