Overview

Production Operative – Long Eaton. Rotating Days & Nights (6am – 6pm & 6pm – 6am). £13.00ph – Overtime available.

Must have relevant Production Operative/Assembly work history.

Metalis Recruitment: An opportunity has arisen for a Production Operative to join a prestigious manufacturing company based in Nottingham.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Working on a fast paced production line
• Manufacturing of materials and components used in many sectors
• Participating and contributing to Continuous Improvement activities
• Interpreting manufacturing paperwork (Engineering drawings)
• Ensuring products are stored correctly to avoid contamination and damage
• Maintaining a good standard of cleanliness in work area
• Reporting all shortages, scrap, and downtime as necessary

Skills & Experience

• Ideally have industrial manufacturing industry experience (print background would be great)
• Awareness of safety, health, environmental and quality issues
• Team player
• Ability to work well in fast paced environments
• Ability to work days and night shifts
• Note: the manufacturing area includes some chemical products; people with allergies or medical conditions such as asthma are not recommended
