Overview

NEW PRODUCTION ENGINEER BASED IN BORDON.

Our client based in Bordon, Hampshire specialise in the design and manufacture of highly complex power electronics.

We are searching for a Production Engineer to join our clients dynamic team in Bordon. This is a hands-on engineering position ideal for someone with a passion for lean methodologies, problem-solving and improving production systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop, document, and optimise manufacturing processes for efficiency, quality, and repeatability
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using lean tools (5S, Kaizen, VSM, RCA)
• Collaborate with design, quality and production teams for smooth new product introductions.
• Lead process validation activities including PFMEA, capability studies and FAIs.
• Troubleshoot process issues and implement effective corrective actions.
• Create and maintain process flows, SOPs, work instructions and control plans.

Requirements

• Degree or HND/HNC in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Electronics Engineering, or related
• 5+ years' experience in a similar production/manufacturing engineering role (electronics/electromechanical preferred)
