About our company

Purpose of the role

To provideaisy a proactive support service for Customer Service and Sales Managers, enabling the delivery of our company’s commitment to accurate finished goods dates for customers. This role serves as a vital liaison between the dye house and internal stakeholders, ensuring seamless communication, timely updates, and collaborative problem‑solving to meet customer expectations and operational goals.

The day to day

To adhere to the Camira Code of Conduct and comply with all relevant quality, environmental, health & safety, data protection, and corporate legislative requirements.

Create short‑term production plans with our internal dye house. These plans must consider dye house capacity, customer required date, stock levels and process capability.

Schedule the preparation and movement of semi‑finished goods (loomstate) ensuring accurate stock levels are available to achieve the dye plan.

Work with the dye house manager to ensure accurate transfer of piece dyed orders to create an achievable plan.

Monitor internal supplier (H filmer ) performance by creating reports and participating in supplier reviews ensuring standards are always maintained.

To support the planning, customer service and sales team as a point of contact for enquiries relating to schedules within the dye production process.

Manage priorities through the dyehouse to ensure achievement of plans.

Support the sales teams requirements and look for opportunities to improve backorder dates, through streamlining of processes and application of efficient practices.

Other Considerations
  • Full, clean driving licence
  • Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft package in particular Excel
  • Good understanding of AS400
  • Knowledge of piece dye processes is desirable
