Job summary

2 Sisters Food Group is seeking a proactive production lead to manage a shift, drive OEE, quality and plan attainment at the Grimsby site. You’ll coordinate set-ups, communicate shift information and coach the team to meet KPIs.

The role emphasizes continuous improvement, lean techniques and training, with focus on safety and collaboration across departments. A background in leading teams and data-driven decision making is essential.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of continuous improvement techniques and lean tools.
• Previous experience of leading a team.
• Numerical ability to record, analyse and interpret data.
• Ability to inspire, motivate and coach others.
• Ability to work towards Food Safety Level 3 and IOSH.

Responsibilities

Job description

Reporting to the Shift Manager, you will play a key role in achieving shift and site KPI's (Key Performance Indicators) by working with your team and other departments. Developing a culture of continuous improvement by using Lean Manufacturing techniques., You will lead and manage the production area in successfully meeting OEE (Operational Equipment Effectiveness), quality, people and plan attainment by;

• Co-ordinating team activities through set-ups and changeovers
• Sharing and communicating shift information, including departmental huddles and in meetings
• Guiding your team in all aspects of the work, providing training and assistance where necessary
• Fostering an atmosphere of safety, collaboration, discipline and respect
• Developing and ensuring compliance to SOP's for process related tasks
  Knowledge of continuous improvement techniques and lean tools
