Job summary

2 Sisters Food Group in Scunthorpe seeks a Team Leader to manage a 10–15 strong team in a fast-moving food production area. You will drive daily tasks, train staff and ensure SOPs and safety standards are followed.

Rotating shifts 06:00–14:30 and 14:30–23:00, paid hourly (£15.00 base, x1.2 on Saturdays). Help drive efficiency, quality and compliance while supporting production targets.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Oversee 10–15 staff in a fast-moving food production area.
• Complete documentation accurately and on time.

This opportunity is available on our rotating shift pattern:06:00-14:30 Mon-Satand14:30-23:00 Mon-Fri.

The Team Leader position is hourly paid and attracts a rate of£15.00per hour (x1.2 paid for Saturday).

Job Description

As a Team Leader you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of 10-15 staff in a fast-moving food production area.

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to;

• Efficient teamworking, ensuring a cohesive operational unit.
• Completion of relevant documentation efficiently and appropriately.
• Training of colleagues within your department, to adhere to SOPs.
• Supervise the safe working and well-being of all employees deployed within your area of operations.
• Ensuring your team are equipped with the correct safety equipment (PPE) for the appropriate task and ensure it is used as per training requirements.
• To meet orders in the given time, team leaders will receive orders from their FLM and will need to be able to act on them promptly.
• Monitor and maintain minimal product and material wastage.
• Ensure adherence to the strict housekeeping and hygiene standards expected by the company and its customers.

It is of paramount importance that your line operates as a team, including and supporting one another to achieve production targets.

Qualifications

As aTeam Leaderyou need to be apeople personwithexcellent communicationskills, with the proven ability tomotivateandleada team.

Other skills and attributes required for the role include;

• A good standard of understanding with maths and English (reading, writing and speaking).
• Site, Company and Product knowledge in order to help tutor and coach operatives within your team when necessary (training and support will be given to external applicants.
