Job summary

2 Sisters Food Group in Grimsby is seeking a motivated Shift Supervisor to drive site KPIs through your team and cross‑department collaboration.

You will develop a culture of continuous improvement using Lean techniques, coordinate set-ups and changeovers, share shift information, and coach others to work safely and to SOPs. The role offers structured training and progression within a major UK food manufacturer.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of continuous improvement techniques and lean tools.
• Previous experience of leading a team.
• Numerical ability to record, analyse and interpret data.
• Ability to inspire motivate and coach othersAbility to work towards Food Safety Level 3 and IOSH

Responsibilities

• Co-ordinating team activities through set-ups and changeovers
• Sharing and communicating shift information, including departmental huddles and in meetings
• Guiding your team in all aspects of the work, providing training and assistance where necessary
• Fostering an atmosphere of safety, collaboration, discipline and respect
• Developing and ensuring compliance to SOP’s for process related tasks

Job Description

Role Purpose:
Reporting to the Shift Manager, you will play a key role in achieving shift and site KPI’s (Key Performance Indicators) by working with your team and other departments. Developing a culture of continuous improvement by using Lean Manufacturing techniques.
