Job description
Description

At AXA, our mission is to deliver innovative, customer-centric products that support our transformation journey and drive business growth. Our Product Management team plays a pivotal role in shaping the future of our digital ecosystem, ensuring products are scalable, secure, and aligned with our strategic objectives.

As a Product Management Lead, you’ll define and evolve our product vision, strategy, and roadmap in line with AXA’s business priorities and transformation goals. You’ll oversee the full product lifecycle from inception to retirement, lead a team of Product Owners, and partner with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and customer-focused solutions. Your strategic leadership and expertise will be critical in driving continuous value and stakeholder engagement.

At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work at least two days a week (40%) away from home, moving to three days a week (60%) in the future. Away from home means either attendance at one of our office locations, visiting clients or attending industry events.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Define and evolve the product vision, strategy, and roadmap, aligning with AXA’s business priorities and transformation ambitions
  • Translate strategic intent into tangible outcomes, overseeing end-to-end product lifecycle management including delivery, optimisation, and retirement
  • Shape demand and manage investment cases, supporting robust business cases and prioritisation decisions across the product portfolio
  • Lead and motivate a team of Product Owners, ensuring alignment across squads and continuous delivery of high-value outcomes
  • Partner with design, engineering, and architecture teams to ensure products are scalable, secure, and user-centric
  • Act as the primary decision-maker on product scope, trade-offs, and investments, balancing stakeholder expectations and customer needs
  • Define and monitor OKRs, success metrics, and adoption rates to gauge performance and foster continuous improvement
  • Manage risks, dependencies, and change impacts proactively across product and delivery landscapes

Due to the number of applications we expect to receive for this role, we reserve the right to close this advert earlier than the listed closing date to ensure we’re able to effectively manage interest. Therefore, if you’re interested in joining us at AXA, please don’t hesitate to apply.

What you’ll bring:

  • Proven experience in product management, with accountability for strategy, roadmap, and delivery in complex environments
  • Experience delivering technical data products and partnering with third-party SaaS vendors
  • Strong commercial acumen with a track record of creating compelling business cases, backed by data and insights
  • Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams across product, design, engineering, and operations
  • Deep understanding of agile product delivery, customer-centric design, and iterative value release
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and decision-making skills, with proven success managing senior stakeholders
  • Experience working within regulated environments, such as financial services or insurance
  • Product management certifications (e.g., SAFe Product Manager, AIPMM, Pragmatic) are desirable
  • Any experience working within Fraud prevention or detection solutions would be highly beneficial
