Job Description:

This is a technical role focused on supporting the Site Manufacturing Strategy to meet business goals. The role is broadly split into two main areas:

1. Ongoing support of key process improvement initiatives.
2. Execution of plant modifications and engineering projects to meet strategic business performance targets.

Requirements:

• Act as a technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) responsible for key plant unit operations with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Provide day-to-day support to manufacturing operations.
• Identify and implement process-related improvements.
• Manage end-to-end process change procedures, including software modifications and capital projects.
• Troubleshoot complex equipment issues and develop engineering solutions.
• Commission new processes/equipment.

Qualifications:

• Degree in an engineering discipline preferred, especially chemical or mechanical engineering.
• Proven hands-on process engineering experience.
• Strong communication skills with customers and management.
• Action-oriented with the ability to learn quickly.
• Good problem-solving, technical learning, time management, and prioritization skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
• Knowledge of environmental, health, and safety legislation is desired.
• Field experience including troubleshooting, start-up, and commissioning of equipment is preferred.
• Experience in FDA-regulated facilities, cGMP standards, OSIsoft PI, and PCS software is a plus.

This is a 12-month fixed-term contract opportunity.
