Role

This is a technical role focused on supporting the Site Manufacturing Strategy to meet business goals. The role is broadly split into two main areas:

• Ongoing support of key process improvement initiatives.
• Execution of plant modifications and engineering projects to meet strategic business performance targets.

Requirements

Act as a technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) to assume responsibility for the performance of key plant unit operations with a focus on continuous improvement:

• Provide day-to-day support to manufacturing operations.
• Monitor plant performance.
• Identify and implement process-related improvements.
• Handle end-to-end process change procedures, including software modifications, minor capital projects, and participation in larger capital projects.
• Troubleshoot complex equipment issues and develop engineering solutions.
• Commissioning of new processes/equipment.

Qualifications include a degree in engineering (preferably chemical or mechanical), proven process engineering experience, strong communication skills, and knowledge of environmental, health, and safety legislation. Field experience, FDA regulation knowledge, and familiarity with cGMP standards, OSIsoft PI, and PCS software are advantageous.
