Job description

This is a technical role focused on supporting the Site Manufacturing Strategy to meet business goals. The role is divided into two main areas:

1. Ongoing support of key process improvement initiatives.
2. Execution of plant modifications and engineering projects to meet strategic performance targets.

Requirements

Act as a technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) responsible for the performance of key plant unit operations, with a focus on continuous improvement:

• Provide day-to-day support to manufacturing operations.
• Monitor plant performance.
• Identify and implement process-related improvements.
• Manage end-to-end process change procedures, handling projects ranging from process control software modifications to minor capital projects and participation in larger capital projects.
• Troubleshoot complex equipment issues and develop engineering solutions.
• Commission new processes and equipment.

Qualifications

• A degree in engineering, preferably chemical or mechanical.
• Proven hands-on process engineering experience.
• Strong communication skills with customers and management.
• Action-oriented with the ability to learn quickly.
• Good problem-solving, technical learning, time management, and prioritization skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
• Knowledge of environmental, health, and safety legislation is desirable.
• Field experience including troubleshooting, startup, and commissioning of equipment is desirable.
• Experience in FDA-regulated facilities, knowledge of cGMP standards, OSIsoft PI, and PCS software is a plus.
