Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Specification Technologist for a 12-month fixed-term contract to review and approve specifications and artworks for major UK retailers. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a solid understanding of legal labelling and retailer policy requirements.

Role Responsibilities:

• Review product formulations and specifications
• Ensure regulatory compliance and adapt specifications accordingly
• Review packaging copy and artwork
• Perform alignment checks (PLV/PAC/CTS/RSR)
• Advise clients and suppliers on compliance issues

Candidate Requirements:

• Experience in Specification & Artwork approval or Regulatory Affairs within the Food Industry
• In-depth technical knowledge of industry codes, policies, and guidance
• Practical experience with specification or artwork systems
• Minimum of 3 years in a technical role
• High accuracy and ability to work efficiently
• Strong communication skills in English
