Job summary

Notting Hill Genesis Group is seeking a Performance Improvement Specialist to enhance performance management across the organisation. You will work with managers, HR partners and the Employee Relations Centre to address underperformance, improve probation decisions and drive proactive, insight-led improvement.

You will use data to identify patterns, support targeted interventions and embed practical tools and practices that promote accountability and continuous improvement across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Strong experience of managing underperformance.
• Strong understanding of performance management frameworks.
• Good knowledge of UK employment law relating to performance, capability and probation.
• Experience interpreting legislative or policy changes into practical guidance.
• Proven ability to coach, influence and challenge managers.
• Experience identifying and addressing patterns and systemic performance issues.

Responsibilities

• Support the organisation’s performance and capability management with consistent standards.
• Identify persistent underperformance using data to target interventions.
• Coach managers to handle performance informally and formally.
• Provide guidance on progression, extension and exit decisions.
• Ensure fair and compliant performance and probation processes.
