Principal Structural Engineer

£60k-£65k plus benefits

Conrad Consulting has teamed up with a boutique engineering consultancy in North London as they continue to grow their building structures team and are now seeking a principal level engineer.

You will take a lead role in preparing structural design calculations in line with current design codes, offering clear and reliable technical advice to clients, and representing the business at both design and site meetings. The role will see you working across a varied project portfolio that includes commercial developments, residential schemes, energy projects, educational buildings, heritage structures, science facilities and more.

To succeed in this role, you will need a degree in civil or structural engineering and at least six years of UK experience. The ideal candidate will already be chartered or actively working towards chartership, with strong communication and client-facing abilities. You should also be confident using a range of structural design software and be comfortable leading project teams while maintaining high technical standards.

In return, you will be rewarded with a competitive salary, a generous benefits package and the flexibility of hybrid working within a growing office that offers genuine scope for progression and promotion.
