Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Principal Electrical Engineer to join its Water team across multiple UK locations including Birmingham, Cardiff and Exeter. You will lead electrical/EICA design delivery for major water projects, guiding technical solutions from feasibility through construction while mentoring engineers and promoting best practice.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Chartered or Incorporated Engineer status, or working towards registration.
• Experience delivering electrical/EICA solutions in complex infrastructure.
• Proven ability to lead technical delivery across multidisciplinary projects.
• Knowledge of electrical design principles, specifications and documentation.
• Experience producing SLDs, control philosophies and technical reports.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Experience mentoring junior engineers.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of electrical and EICA design solutions for water projects.
• Provide technical guidance throughout full lifecycle.
