Are you an experienced Electrical Engineer driven by a passion for sustainable solutions?
Imagine stepping into a role where your expertise directly tackles the urgent climate, environmental, and efficiency challenges facing communities across the nation. At Stantec, this is your reality. We don't just design projects; we shape the future of essential infrastructure.
We are seeking a Principal Electrical Engineer to join our ambitious team in the North West (based out of our Manchester or Warrington offices). This is more than a design position—it's an opportunity to become a key leader in our growth. You will build our reputation in the local community and the vital Water Business, overseeing EICA design services from initial optioneering and concept design right through to detailed delivery and feasibility studies.
Working within our diverse, multidisciplinary teams, you'll be the pivotal link—liaising with Project Managers, clients, and supply chain partners. Your work will span the full project lifecycle, producing critical outputs like Single Line Diagrams, Block Cable Diagrams, and comprehensive technical specifications. Moreover, you'll act as a mentor for our junior engineers, helping to cultivate the next generation of industry leaders.

You are a skilled technical communicator, capable of delivering clear presentations, leading HAZOPs, and driving collaborative design discussions. While experience in the Water sector is a significant advantage, we are equally eager to connect with candidates who have made a demonstrable impact in the energy, infrastructure, or environmental sectors. An understanding of DSEAR requirements in design is also highly valued.
We are undergoing a period of exciting growth, and we have a structured path for your career progression. Join us, and become an integral part of an experienced and ambitious team that provides the platform and support for you to make a lasting national impact.
