This role offers the opportunity to manage a stimulating caseload while leading a dedicated Psychology and Occupational Therapy team within Older People’s Mental Health community services.
We’re seeking a Band 8B Principal Psychologist to take a leading role in shaping and delivering the Stepped Care Therapies Services for older adults. You’ll also contribute to the clinical leadership team across the service and wider directorate.
This position offers scope for professional growth, innovation, and research within the field of Older People’s Mental Health. Flexible working arrangements, including adjusted hours or secondment, may be considered. Please note that face-to-face clinical contact is essential.

For this role you will be required to travel independently around the county meeting strict time deadlines. You will need to hold a full UK driving licence and have use of a vehicle. You cannot use public transport for this role as this is not a reliable form of transport and will not allow you to meet service needs. You’ll be part of one of four county-wide teams working collaboratively with Social Workers, Psychiatrists, Mental Health Nurses, and the Memory Assessment Service.
