Principal Civil Engineer
Manchester - Hybrid (3 days in a week on-site)
Contract - up to £480 per day OUTSIDE IR35
Perm - up to £75K per annum

Principal Civil Engineer is required for a leading infrastructure design and engineering firm specialising in rail electrification, civil works, and water sector solutions, delivering projects from concept through detailed design. They provide excellence in both design & build, working in operational networks and constrained environments.

You will lead the delivery of high-quality, safe, and compliant design solutions, overseeing engineers, CAD technicians, and graduates while ensuring adherence to technical and industry standards. You will be responsible for approving design deliverables, reports, and specifications, managing project changes, estimating design hours, and presenting at key meetings.

Skills:

  • Chartered engineer.
  • 10 years' relevant design experience in the regulated water industry.
  • Understanding of hydraulics.
  • Experience with both clean water and waste water.
