Job summary

Teaching Personnel is seeking a caring Primary Teaching Assistant to support pupils in welcoming and inclusive primary schools in BS34 and surrounds.

This full-time, term-time only role offers a daily rate of £92–£105, starting ASAP, with 1:1 and small group support, and collaboration with the class teacher.

You will help foster engagement, confidence and independence, support learners with additional needs, and contribute to a safe, positive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people (school, childcare, tutoring, coaching, or similar).
• A positive and patient approach.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
