Job summary

TeacherActive is seeking a Primary Teaching Assistant to support learning in South Gloucestershire across KS1/KS2. You will assist the class teacher, help create an inclusive classroom, and support pupils with additional needs or SEND.

The role is temporary and day-to-day, with PAYE payment and ongoing consultant support. Competitive hourly rates apply and CPD opportunities are provided.

TeacherActive are looking to hire a Primary Teaching Assistant in South Gloucestershire on a day-to-day basis, working across Key Stage 1 / KS1 and Key Stage 2 / KS2. The successful Primary Teaching Assistant will support pupils with their learning, assist the class teacher with classroom activities and help create an inclusive and positive learning environment.

The successful Primary Teaching Assistant will have:

• Experience working with children in a primary school setting
• Experience supporting children with additional needs or SEND
• Experience supporting pupils across KS1 and/or KS2
• A patient, adaptable and proactive approach
