Job summary

TeacherActive are seeking a Primary Teaching Assistant in South Gloucestershire to support pupils across KS1 and KS2. You will assist the class teacher, help create an inclusive and positive learning environment, and contribute to SEND support where needed.

Ideal candidates will hold a TA qualification or have relevant experience in primary settings, with strong communication, patience, and a proactive approach. Salary is £14.25 - £15.50 per hour, paid PAYE.

TeacherActive are looking to hire a Primary Teaching Assistant in South Gloucestershireon a day-to-day basis, working across Key Stage 1 / KS1 and Key Stage 2 / KS2. The successful Primary Teaching Assistant will support pupils with their learning, assist the class teacher with classroom activities and help create an inclusive and positive learning environment.

The successful Primary Teaching Assistant will have:

• A relevant Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable
• Experience working with children in a primary school setting
• Experience supporting children with additional needs or SEND
• Experience supporting pupils across KS1 and/or KS2
• Strong communication skills
• A patient, adaptable and proactive approach
