Job summary

TeacherActive is seeking a Primary Teaching Assistant in South Gloucestershire on a day-to-day basis. The role involves supporting pupils with learning, assisting the class teacher, and helping maintain an inclusive, positive classroom environment across KS1 and KS2.

The successful candidate should have relevant TA qualifications or experience in a primary setting, with experience supporting children with SEND, and strong communication and a patient, proactive approach.

Salary: £14.25 - £15.50 per hour

Do you have experience working with pupils with additional needs or SEND?

Are you adaptable, reliable and confident supporting pupils across Key Stage 1 / KS1 and Key Stage 2 / KS2?

TeacherActive are looking to hire a Primary Teaching Assistant in South Gloucestershire on a day-to-day basis, working across Key Stage 1 / KS1 and Key Stage 2 / KS2. The successful Primary Teaching Assistant will support pupils with their learning, assist the class teacher with classroom activities and help create an inclusive and positive learning environment.

The successful Primary Teaching Assistant will have:

• A relevant Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable
• Experience working with children in a primary school setting
• Experience supporting children with additional needs or SEND
• Experience supporting pupils across KS1 and/or KS2
• Strong communication skills
• A patient, adaptable and proactive approach
