EduTalent Group is recruiting a dedicated Primary Teaching Assistant to provide 1 : 1 support for a pupil with ASD in a primary school in Horsham. This is a permanent role offering the chance to make a lasting impact on a pupils development and learning.

Key responsibilities
  • Deliver personalised 1 : 1 support for a pupil with ASD
  • Assist the teacher in planning and implementing lessons
  • Promote communication independence and social skillsEncourage positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
  • Implement strategies provided by the SENCO and teaching team
Requirements
  • Experience supporting pupils with ASD
  • Patience empathy and consistency
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with the class teacher and SENCO
  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain)
