Job summary

Empowering Learning is seeking qualified primary teachers to join our team across the Bury area and Greater Manchester. Whether you want day-to-day supply, short-term or longer-term roles, we will help you find the right fit. Start in November after half term and choose a schedule that suits you, with potential to go permanent.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) is required.
• Experience teaching in a primary setting (ECTs welcome to apply).
• Strong understanding of the primary curriculum.
• Positive, resilient and adaptable approach.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons meeting learner needs.
• Create a calm, inclusive classroom where children feel safe to learn.
• Monitor and assess pupil progress and use it to shape teaching.
• Build strong relationships with pupils, colleagues and families.
• Collaborate with teaching assistants and support staff to maximise pupil outcomes.

Location: Bury area, Greater Manchester
Pay: 140- 180 per day (depending on experience)
Hours: Full-time or flexible, Monday-Friday
Contract: Day-to-day, short-term and long-term roles, with the potential to go permanent

The Role

• Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons that meet the needs of every learner
• Create a calm, positive and inclusive classroom where children feel safe to learn
