Job summary

Empowering Learning Ltd in Bury is seeking a Primary Teacher for long-term, school-based placements across the borough. The role is full-time, Monday to Friday, with pay £140-£180 per day and potential to move into a permanent position.

You will plan engaging lessons, assess pupil progress, work with teaching assistants, and access ongoing CPD and support from a dedicated consultant.

Qualifications

• QTS is required.
• Experience teaching in a primary setting; ECTs welcome to apply.
• Strong understanding of the primary curriculum.
• Positive, resilient and adaptable approach.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons for all learners.
• Create a calm, inclusive classroom where children feel safe to learn.
• Monitor and assess pupil progress and adapt teaching accordingly.
• Build strong relationships with pupils, colleagues and families.
• Collaborate with teaching assistants to maximise learning outcomes.

Pay: £140-£180 per day (depending on experience)

The Role

• Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons that meet the needs of every learner
• Create a calm, positive and inclusive classroom where children feel safe to learn
• Monitor and assess pupil progress, and use it to shape your teaching
• Build strong relationships with pupils, colleagues and families
• Work alongside teaching assistants and support staff to get the best from every child

We're Looking For

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
