Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment are seeking a Primary Teacher for Gravesend. You will plan and deliver the primary curriculum, support and challenge your cohort, manage class behaviour and liaise with parents.

Candidates should hold QTS in the UK, have experience in KS1/KS2, and an enhanced DBS (update service desirable). Right to work in the UK is required. This is a full-time, temp-to-perm position with pay on the MPS-UPS scale.

Primary Teacher - Gravesend

Full-time - MPS-UPS - Immediate Start - temp to perm. Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting for a Primary Teacher for roles in the Gravesend area. I am looking to speak to both ECTs and experienced teachers alike, as shortlisting and interviews are happening ASAP.

The Role

Planning and delivering the Primary Curriculum.

Responsibility for ensuring your cohort is supported and challenged appropriately with the work set.

Managing behaviour within the classroom effectively.

Liaising with Parents/Guardians on the progress and/or potential development areas of students.

Terms of going permanent would depend on performance and preference of the school and the teacher, so there is an element of flexibility with this.

Requirements

• Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) in the UK
• Experience as a Primary Teacher, experience teaching in KS1 and KS2 is welcomed either way.
• Hold an enhanced DBS (DBS on the update service is highly desirable)
• Have right to work in the UK
