Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment in Chatham is seeking a dedicated Primary Teacher for a full-time role with immediate start. You will deliver the primary curriculum and support KS1/KS2 pupils while working to scale salary terms. Shortlisting and interviews are happening ASAP, with temp-to-perm potential depending on performance.

Applicants must hold UK QTS, have the right to work in the UK, and hold an enhanced DBS (DBS on update service desirable). CPD and school liaison are included.

Qualifications

• Holds UK QTS with up-to-date status.
• Experience teaching in KS1 and/or KS2 is welcomed.
• Enhanced DBS is required; update service desirable.

Primary Teacher - Chatham

Full-time - MPS-UPS - Immediate Start -temp to perm

Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting for a Primary Teacher for roles in the Chatham area. These positions would involve full classroom teaching responsibilities and salary will be paid at scale. Terms of going permanent would depend on performance and preference of the school and the teacher, so there is an element of flexibility with this.

I am looking to speak to both ECTs and experienced teachers alike, as shortlisting and interviews are happening ASAP.

The Role

• Planning and delivering the Primary Curriculum.
• Responsibility for ensuring your cohort is supported and challenged appropriately with the work set.
• Managing behaviour within the classroom effectively
• Liaising with Parents/Guardians on the progress and/or potential development areas of students

Requirements

• Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) in the UK
• Experience as a Primary Teacher, experience teaching in KS1 and KS2 is welcomed either way.
• Hold an enhanced DBS (DBS on the update service is highly desirable)
• Have right to work in the UK
