What We're Looking For

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualifications are highly desirable, but experienced non-QTS cover supervisors with a strong track record are also encouraged to apply.
• Proven ability to manage and motivate students from diverse backgrounds.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, allowing you to liaise effectively with staff and students.
• A flexible and resilient approach to teaching, with the ability to adapt quickly to different subject matter and year groups.
• Strong organisational skills and punctuality.
• A commitment to the school's ethos and a passion for student success.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-planned lessons and activities across a range of subjects and key stages (KS1, KS2).
• Manage the classroom environment effectively, promoting a positive, safe, and productive learning atmosphere.
• Ensure students complete assigned work and adhere to the school's high standards of behaviour.
• Follow all school policies and procedures, including those related to safeguarding and health and safety.
• Mark and leave feedback on completed work as required by the departmental policy.
• Report back to the relevant Head of Department/Year on student progress and any issues arising during the lesson.
