Teaching AssistantLocation: Cranborne, DorsetHourly Rate: £12.37 - £13.49Annual Salary: £22,102.72 - £24,103.93 (FTE £25,729.60 - £28,059.20)Contract: Permanent, 40 hours per week, term time only

Are you passionate about helping young people achieve their full potential? We’re looking for a Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team supporting students aged 11–16 with a range of needs, including Autism and associated conditions.

You’ll play a key role in creating a safe, caring, and inspiring learning environment—supporting both academic and vocational activities such as bushcraft, animal care, and life skills. Flexibility and positive role‑modelling are essential in this rewarding role.

What You’ll Do
  • Work alongside teaching staff to support learning and provide extra guidance where needed.
  • Promote safeguarding and wellbeing at all times.
  • Help students meet and exceed their Education and Healthcare Plan targets.
  • Encourage positive behaviour and adapt approaches to individual needs.
  • Support group activities that foster social interaction and friendships.
