Qualifications

• Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or supporting children in an educational setting.
• Experience supporting pupils in Key Stage 1.
• Good understanding of the national primary curriculum.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.

Primary School Teaching Assistant – Key Stage 1

Location: Newcastle NE3

Start Date: 30th November

Pay: £95 - £120 per day, paid weekly (dependant on experience)

Teaching Personnel are on the lookout for a passionate and enthusiastic Key Stage 1 Primary Teaching Assistant who is eager for a new challenge at a warm and welcoming primary school based in Newcastle.

The successful candidate will be committed to assisting the class teacher deliver high-quality lessons, encouraging pupil progress, and creating a positive classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the class teacher in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Knowledge of adaptive support for pupils with SEND or speech and language needs.
