Job summary

Vision for Education Ltd is seeking a KS2 Teaching Assistant for a full-time, temporary role in Newcastle Upon Tyne. You will work across KS2 classes, providing in-class support and 1:1 small group interventions.

The contract runs October 2026 to July 2027, with excellent daily rates paid via PAYE and access to a dedicated consultant. Requirements include KS2 experience, Level 2 TA qualification or above, ability to work independently and in a team, a friendly, enthusiastic approach, and ability

Qualifications

• Preferably have experience of working with Key Stage 2.
• Hold a Level 2 Teaching Assistant Qualification or above.
• Have an ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Have a friendly and enthusiastic personality.
• Have an ability to offer differentiated learning and support pupils with SEND.

£462.80 - £480 per week (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications)

The School and Role

A Primary School based in West Newcastle are seeking to employ a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join their vibrant team. The Teaching Assistant will be working across KS2 classes, offering a mix of in class support and 1:1 small group intervention's. This is a full-time, long-term position and the Senior Leadership team would ideally like an experienced candidate for this role. The school boasts modern learning facilities and generous outdoor spaces, offering the children a safe and stimulating environment to flourish.

Requirements
