Job summary

Teaching Personnel Ltd. is seeking a passionate Primary School Teaching Assistant for Key Stage 1 and 2 at a busy Gateshead school. You will support the class teacher, help manage behaviour, and provide one-to-one and small-group pupil support to drive progress.

Ideal candidates will have prior TA experience, a solid understanding of the primary curriculum, and an enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one). Competitive daily rates apply with weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or supporting children in an educational setting.
• Experience supporting pupils in both Key Stage 1 and 2.
• Good understanding of the primary curriculum.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.

Pay: £95 - £120 per day, paid weekly (dependant on experience)

Teaching Personnel are on the lookout for a passionate and enthusiastic Primary Teaching Assistant who is eager for a new challenge at a warm and welcoming primary school based in Gateshead.

The successful candidate will be committed to assisting the class teacher deliver high-quality lessons, encouraging pupil progress, and creating a positive classroom environment.
