Job summary

Teaching Personnel Ltd. is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support pupils across Key Stage 2 in a welcoming primary school in Burnley.

The role covers general classroom assistance and tailored 1:1 SEN support, with daily duties from 8:30am to 3:30pm, full-time, and a competitive daily rate. You will work with the class teacher, help deliver engaging KS2 lessons, support groups, manage behaviour, and help pupils' social, emotional, and academic development.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting pupils in a primary school setting.
• Ability to support across Key Stage 2.
• Interest or experience in SEN support.

Responsibilities

Are you a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant looking for your next opportunity within Key Stage 2? We are seeking a motivated individual to support pupils across KS2, providing both general classroom assistance and targeted 1:1 SEN support.

• Supporting the class teacher with day-to-day classroom activities.

• Has previous experience working within a primary school setting.
• Is confident supporting pupils across Key Stage 2.
• Has experience, or a keen interest, in supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
• Demonstrates patience, adaptability, and strong communication skills.
• Works well as part of a team and can build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
• Holds a relevant Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential).
