Job summary

Teaching Personnel Ltd. is looking for a Primary School Teaching Assistant to support Key Stage 2 in Newcastle NE3. You will work with the class teacher to provide a positive, inclusive learning environment and assist pupils with SEND or speech and language needs.

The position is temporary with weekly pay at £95-£120 per day. A dedicated consultant from Teaching Personnel will support you, and opportunities for local roles and flexible, long-term work are available.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or supporting children in an educational setting.
• Experience supporting pupils in Key Stage 2.
• Good understanding of the national primary curriculum.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
