Job summary

Estée Lauder Companies in the United Kingdom is seeking an inspirational and dynamic Assistant Counter Manager to support the Store Manager in leading and developing the sales team on the counters.

You will coach Sales Associates to deliver exceptional customer service, drive sales, and maintain smooth store operations, including inventory control and cash handling, across flexible hours including days, nights, weekends and special events.

Qualifications

• Proven retail experience preferably within cosmetics.
• Ability to provide inspirational, authentic and personalized customer service.
• Previous supervisory experience with coaching/mentoring others to achieve sales and customer service targets
• Retail operations experience including inventory management and cash reconciliation
• Ability to work retail hours including days, nights, weekends and special events in a fast-paced work environment
• Previous experience with retail point-of-sale software
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Applicants must be able to provide proof of right to live and work in the country if invited to attend for interview

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager to lead, coach and develop our team of Sales Associates to achieve all sales, customer service and operational targets.
• Provide inspirational coaching to the team to reach full potential and deliver outstanding customer experiences.
• Contribute to achieving key performance indicators and store targets through effective coaching and supervision.
• Participate in ongoing training and development programs to maintain high standards.
