Job summary

Vertu SEAT and Cupra Carlisle is seeking a Prep Technician to perform high-quality pre-delivery inspections on both new and used vehicles. You will work within manufacturer guidelines, meet time frames, and maintain productivity while delivering outstanding customer service.

The role requires an automotive qualification (City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3), current Vehicle Technician experience, and ownership of tools. A full UK driving licence is essential; MOT license is a plus.

• Current experience as a Vehicle Technician.

Job description

Vertu SEAT and Cupra Carlisle Join our team at Vertu SEAT and Cupra Carlisle and become a valued Prep Technician.

We are offering a basic salary up to £40,000 depending on skills and experience. This is based on a 40 hour working week and an additional over-performance bonus opportunity.

We are also offering a £1,000 sign on bonus paid in month 1, and £1,000 retention bonus paid in month 13.

Your role as a Vehicle Technician is crucial in delivering an exceptional customer experience, built on trust and honesty. As a Prep Technician you will be responsible for carrying out pre-delivery inspections (PDI's) on new and used vehicles. You will ensure the PDI's are carried out to the highest possible standard and within manufacturer guidelines. You will need to work to agreed time frames, and maintain a high level of productivity, whilst ensuring exceptional customer service at all times. Quality workmanship and achieving first-time fixes are core values that guide everything we do.

To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications and skills:

• A relevant formal qualification in Automotive City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3
• Current experience as a Vehicle Technician
• MOT license preferred but not essential
• Your own set of tools
• A full UK driving licence
