Vertu Honda Doncaster is seeking a Prep Technician to perform PDI checks on new and used vehicles. The role focuses on high-quality workmanship, timeliness, and customer service while supporting the four-day week.

As part of Vertu Motors, you will have access to ongoing training and development, with overtime on Saturdays and a potential over-performance bonus. A full UK driving licence and your own tools are required.

We are offering a basic salary of up to £35,720, depending on your skills and experience. This is based on a 41-hour, four-day working week, with no regular weekend working. For those who want to boost their earnings, Saturday shifts are available and paid as overtime, alongside the opportunity to earn an additional over-performance bonus.

Your role as a Vehicle Technician is crucial in delivering an exceptional customer experience, built on trust and honesty. As a Prep Technician you will be responsible for carrying out pre-delivery inspections (PDI's) on new and used vehicles. You will ensure the PDI's are carried out to the highest possible standard and within manufacturer guidelines. You will need to work to agreed time frames, and maintain a high level of productivity, whilst ensuring exceptional customer service at all times. Quality workmanship and achieving first-time fixes are core values that guide everything we do.

To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications and skills:

• A relevant formal qualification in Automotive City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3


• Current experience as a Vehicle Technician


• MOT license preferred but not essential


• Your own set of tools


• A full UK driving licence
