Job summary

Vertu CUPRA Darlington is seeking a Vehicle Technician to join our team. The role focuses on quality workmanship and achieving first-time fixes while delivering an excellent customer experience. The position follows a 40-hour workweek, Monday to Friday, with no weekend work.

A basic salary up to £45,800 plus an over-performance bonus and a £2,000 sign-on bonus are offered. Qualifications include a relevant automotive qualification (NVQ/City & Guilds Level 3) and current Vehicle Technician

Qualifications

• Formal automotive qualification (City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3).
• Current experience as a Vehicle Technician.
• MOT licence preferred but not essential and full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality workmanship and achieve first-time fixes.
• Enhance customer experience with trust and honesty.
• Work Monday to Friday with no weekend shifts.

Join our team at Vertu CUPRA Darlington and become a valued Vehicle Technician

We are offering a basic salary up to £45,800 depending on skills and experience. This is based on a 40 hour working week between Monday and Friday, so No Weekend Working! We also offer an additional over-performance bonus opportunity.

We are offering a £2000 sign on bonus for this role. £1,000 in month one of your employment and £1,000 in month 13.

Your role as a Vehicle Technician is crucial in delivering an exceptional customer experience, built on trust and honesty. Quality workmanship and achieving first-time fixes are core values that guide everything we do.

Qualifications

• We\'re looking for technicians across all levels and packages on offer are dependent upon experience and qualifications however, you can expect packages such as:


• Service and Maintenance Technician salaries up to £36,200


• Service and Diagnostic Technician salaries up to £38,600


• Senior Technician salaries up to £41,000


• Master Technician salaries up to £45,800

To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications and skills:

• A relevant formal qualification in Automotive City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3


• Current experience as a Vehicle Technician


• MOT license preferred but not essential


• Your own set of tools


• A full UK driving licence
