Job summary

Vertu BYD Worcester is seeking a skilled Prep Technician to join our aftersales team. You will ensure vehicles are prepared to the highest standards before delivery, applying attention to detail and quality workmanship.

You will benefit from manufacturer training, EV qualifications, and a clear path for progression across our national network of locations. This role is full-time with 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Level 2/3 Automotive qualification (NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent).
• Previous experience working as a Vehicle Technician.
• Own set of tools and full UK driving licence.
• Positive attitude and pride in delivering high-quality work.

Responsibilities

• Carry out detailed pre-delivery inspections (PDIs) on new and used vehicles.
• Complete repairs and preparation work in line with manufacturer standards.
• Diagnose faults and carry out corrective work where required.
• Work efficiently to timescales while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
• Deliver first-time fixes and ensure vehicles are prepared to the highest standard.
• Maintain a safe and organised working environment.
