The Grand - York, part of Splendid Hospitality Group, seeks a Concierge - Doorperson to welcome guests and assist with luggage, opening doors, and guiding arrivals. You will provide first-class service at the hotel entrance and act as the friendly face of our brand.

Key duties include assisting with taxis, answering local area questions, managing valet parking, and supporting the front desk team to deliver memorable stays for guests.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering high-quality guest services in a luxury hotel or similar environment.
• Ability to communicate clearly with guests and colleagues.
• Professional appearance and demeanor consistent with a high-end brand.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests on arrival with luggage and escort to reception.
• Open doors, greet guests warmly and provide prompt service outside the hotel.
• Answer queries about the local area and travel arrangements.
• Manage valet parking and assist with taxis and onward travel.
• Build local connections to support referrals and guest recommendations.
