Job summary

Hendy Group in Christchurch is seeking a New & Used Car Sales Advisor to join our team. You will build rapport with customers, assess needs, and recommend suitable vehicles and financing options, including trade-ins, while achieving sales targets.

The role offers a starting salary of £25,500 with uncapped commission, a 40-hour week, and a structured induction programme at our Portsmouth training academy. A full UK driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• A full UK driving licence is required.
• Experience in customer-facing roles preferred.
• Automotive industry experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Build rapport with customers and assess needs to recommend products.
• Negotiate sale price and trade-ins.
• Calculate finance payments and arrange financing.
• Meet or exceed sales targets and profit margins.
• Upsell accessories and aftersales services.
• Coordinate appointments and test drives.
• Prepare vehicle orders and paperwork with accuracy.
