Job summary

Fears Watch Company, a historic British luxury watchmaker, seeks a committed Watch Assembly Technician for the Bristol head office. You will assemble watches, prepare build kits, manage component stock, and perform quality control.

The role reports to the Operations Manager and requires meticulous attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. Key duties include maintaining workshop standards, recording stock transfers, and testing movements and water resistance.

Qualifications

• Experience assembling and repairing luxury watches is essential.
• Experience as an Assembly Watchmaker or Repair Technician is required.
• WOSTEP or BHI qualification is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Timely and efficient assembly of watches to quality standards.
• Compile build kits and record stock transfers accurately.
• Maintain clean workshop and properly service tools and equipment.
• Perform QC on components and final watches with minimal defect rate.
• Test components, regulate watches to match movement specs, and support aftersales quality.
